PA6 is hygroscopic, so packaging integrity and moisture protection matter before processing. Buyers should confirm the actual bag construction, net weight, palletization or bulk configuration offered for the selected grade rather than assuming one universal PA6 package.
Packaging choice can affect warehouse handling, container utilization, unloading labor and the risk of moisture exposure after delivery.
MOQ: separate qualification quantity from regular supply
A sample or trial quantity serves a different purpose from a regular commercial shipment. During qualification, the priority is obtaining enough representative material to test the process and final product. Container planning: use the actual shipment configuration
Do not calculate container tonnage from nominal container volume alone. The achievable load depends on bag dimensions, pallet use, stacking pattern, gross-weight limits, carrier requirements and restrictions at origin and destination.
Before confirming an order, ask for the proposed packing list or loading basis and have the freight forwarder confirm the applicable weight and routing constraints.
Incoterms and landed-cost comparison
When comparing quotations, make sure the Incoterm and named place or port are explicit. An FOB price, CIF price and delivered warehouse price allocate freight, insurance, import handling and risk differently.
For supplier comparison, convert offers to the same landed-cost basis and include ocean freight, destination charges, duty or tariff where applicable, customs brokerage, inland delivery and financing or inventory effects.
