Information we collect
When you submit a product or business inquiry, we may collect your name, business email, company, country or region, material category, current supplier, reference grade, estimated annual requirement, processing method, inquiry message, site language and source page. We may also receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the website.
How we use information
We use personal information to respond to business inquiries, review material requirements, coordinate samples, technical information, quotations and related commercial requests, provide customer service, maintain website and information security, prevent abuse, keep business records, and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
Legal bases where applicable
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we generally process inquiry information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, for our legitimate interests in responding to and managing business-to-business inquiries and protecting our services, and to comply with legal obligations where relevant. We do not rely on consent merely to respond to a business inquiry you submit.
Who may receive information
Information may be processed by service providers that support cloud hosting, database operation, website security and transactional email delivery. It may also be shared with selected affiliated manufacturing operations or business personnel when reasonably necessary to evaluate or fulfill your material request. We require recipients to handle information only for appropriate business or service purposes.
International processing
STRANTOP is based in the United States and works with affiliated manufacturing operations in China, so inquiry information may be processed in countries other than the country where you submitted it. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an available lawful mechanism and appropriate safeguards.
Retention
Website inquiry records stored in our website database are generally retained for up to 24 months and are then scheduled for deletion. Business correspondence, quotations, transaction records or information connected with an active or prospective commercial relationship may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for business, contractual, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution or legal-compliance purposes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our current website code is not configured to deploy advertising, retargeting or behavioral-profiling cookies, and we do not intentionally deploy third-party analytics cookies through the website code.
